The Boston Tea Party had many effects on the outcome of the Revolutionary War and on the British government.

Coercive Acts (Intolerable Acts)
Soon after the Boston Tea Party, the British Parliament passed the "Intolerable Acts." These laws helped to create unity for the Americans because they were turning the tide on the outcome of the Revolutionary War. This act was passed in 1774. This act took away Massachusetts self-government and historical rights. Many colonists were outraged which helped unite them towards one common goal. Their goal was to become an independent country and free themselves of British rule.
More Acts
Some of the other Acts passed by the British Parliament were the Massachusetts Government Act, the Administration of Justice Act, the Quartering Act, and the Quebec Act.
First Continental Congress
The First Continental Congress met in September 1774, ten months after the Boston Tea Party. Two years after they first met, the Declaration of Independence was signed. The Declaration of Independence helped America become absolutely free of the British rule.
The second boston tea party
Early in March of 1774, sixty Boston Mohawks boarded the Fortune and dumped thirty chests of tea into the Boston Harbor. This was called the second Boston Tea Party. After the second Tea Party, citizens around the area dressed as Indians and Redcoats and mocked the British authorities by dumping and burning tea. The citizens did these things because of the first and second Boston Tea Party. The Tea Parties gave the citizens a will to fight for their country.
The revolutionary war
The Boston Tea Party was one of the main causes of the Revolutionary War. This was the event that gave the Americans enough confidence and drive to fight for their country and rid themselves of the British rule. Although the Tea Party does not officially mark the start of the War, this was one of the last events that led up to the War. Without the Boston Tea Party, the War may have never started.
